What Is X League? 5 Facts That Will Blow Your Mind

4. The Rules Are Football on Fast-Forward

Forget everything you know about NFL rules—the X League plays a sped-up version of the game that makes regular football look like it’s moving in slow motion. Games are played on a 50-yard field with just seven players per side, and there are no kickoffs or field goals. Games consist of four ten-minute quarters with a 12-minute halftime, and if there’s a tie, an eight-minute sudden death period decides the winner. It’s football designed for the TikTok generation—fast, intense, and over before you get bored.
