Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting – The 20cm Miss That Cost PSG The Title (2019)

Paris Saint-Germain were one goal away from clinching the Ligue 1 title early. A teammate‘s shot was already heading into an empty net – Choupo-Moting just had to leave it alone. Instead, he lunged in and somehow “saved” the ball on the goal line, stopping a certain goal. The ball was literally 20 centimeters from crossing the line. PSG drew 2-2, the title party was cancelled, and Choupo-Moting became a meme forever.
