Canadian beach volleyball legends Sarah Pavan and Melissa Humana-Paredes were forced to borrow used thongs from dancers at a World Tour event in The Hague. The referee refused their request to wear leggings, so they had to wear the Swiss team’s sweaty bikini bottoms over their own mismatched gear. They lost the match, and Pavan called it “the most uncomfortable game of my life”.
