5 Most Brutal Countries in the World You Never Want to Visit

Sudan — The World’s Worst Humanitarian Crisis

Sudan’s civil war has been labelled by the UN as the world’s “largest and most devastating humanitarian crisis”. Fierce fighting between the Sudanese armed forces and the Rapid Support Forces has torn the country apart since April 2023. The violence is so extreme that Sudan is one of only three countries in the world with the maximum score for violence on the World Watch List. Hundreds of thousands have been killed, millions displaced, and the country is witnessing one of the worst humanitarian catastrophes in the region.
