6 Most Terrifying Creatures On Earth That Might Actually Kill You

Inland Taipan – The Snake That Could Kill 100 People

Often called the most venomous snake on Earth, the inland taipan’s venom ranks highest in toxicity of any land snake. Its bite delivers a deadly mix of neurotoxins and myotoxins that paralyse muscles and stop breathing. A single bite would probably be enough to kill over 100 adult humans. Found in the semi-arid regions of central east Australia, this elusive serpent is a specialist hunter of mammals and has evolved venom specifically designed to kill warm-blooded animals. It’s not just venomous – it’s a precision weapon.
